These wonderful coasters are handmade from one piece of ancient Opus 1 grapevine, cut sequentially to make a set. I'm the only one in the world who makes these and I can tell you why: its a pain in the rear! They're a wonderful complement to any home or business. The grape vines are dried for up to 8 years to insure they are dry then kiln fired, hand cut, sanded and sealed with 3 coats of all natural organic food grade Tung oil to highlight all the decades of growth and preserve your beautiful art for generations to come. The coaster set is tied in raffia and wrapped in tissue before being carefully packed in a box. Already wrapped as a gift, it's perfect for any holiday or special occasion.
