My first time here. Larry put me at ease and helped me along the way. I got a beautiful jewelry box for my granddaughter with modifications. The box was finished early and Larry shipped it to her home. She LOVES it as I knew she would. She says it is very well made. I am very happy with the whole transaction and would work with Larry again. :)

My husband Mike and I can’t thank Larry enough for our two beautiful end tables. They are exactly what we wanted. Thank you so much for taking on our project. We highly recommend Larry. My husband and I were looking at the usual big box furniture stores for solid wood end tables. We could not find the quality or style that we wanted. Then I found Market place and LDM Custom Woodworking. We can't be happier with our 4 Shaker End Tables. Larry was an absolute pleasure to work with. He built exactly what we asked for and the craftsmanship is beautiful. Our tables arrived in the promised time with very protected shipping boxes. They arrived in pristine condition. Larry gave us frequent updates and was extremely communicative. We highly recommend Larry. He was a pleasure to work with and we couldn't be happier. Larry’s masterful craftsmanship is once again demonstrated through his latest effort to make us two beautiful cherry wood end tables with drawers. His reputation precedes him, as this is now our second purchase from Larry in less than two years. What is unique about his work? Let me share a few our observations. First, Larry is by far one of the most conscientious vendors we have ever had the pleasure of working with. He is absolutely committed to satisfying his customers which includes: clarifications as needed; being extremely schedule conscious (including an earlier than expected delivery of our tables); and very regular updates with photos illuminating his progress. We simply couldn’t be happier KNOWING we have chosen Larry to be our craftsman of choice. As a craftsman, Larry has an experienced eye for balance, detail (like dovetail joints; selection of beautiful wood, finishes etc.), along with being innately artistic. He ensures the finished product is not just “compiled”, but that it demonstrates the wood’s innate beauty while providing its desired functionality. In a nutshell, Larry is a precisionist. He exemplifies this through his work ethic, his customer relationships, and ultimately the decades long experience of his skilled craftsmanship. I cannot recommend Larry highly enough. While there are many choices for other craftsmen, my choice as in the past, present and future is Larry. Simply said, he excels at all that he does. For that reason alone, he has earned our highest level of confidence. He’s the best!

We are very happy with the jewelry case Larry made specific to our requests. Larry was very flexible and helpful. The finished Jewelry box in cherry and walnut was beautiful.

Larry’s work is impeccable. He is a perfectionist and every detail of his work (dovetail joints, selection of woods, assembly of drawers that fit perfectly, layers of hand applied fine finishes etc.) exemplifies his years of experience as a fine craftsman. We sent a design of what we wanted for two side tables and every detail was perfectly captured in his finished products. Further, Larry is extremely communicative and regularly kept us apprised of his progress by sending us emails and photos of his ongoing work. To ensure we would be satisfied with the final finish on the side tables, he sent us a wood sample with the finish on it. We were amazed… it was precisely the color we wanted. Lastly, Larry's tables arrived ahead of schedule. The bottom line is that we can't say enough about who Larry is and his beautiful, detailed workmanship. We highly recommend Larry to others and would most definitely select him again to make our side tables. We simply couldn’t have been happier with Larry’s thoroughness and demonstrated level of expertise.

Larry was great to work with on this project. The jewelry box is beautiful and my girlfriend will love it. I would recommend Larry to anyone who wants a custom piece done. I will for sure use Larry in the future on any custom word projects.

I have nothing bad to say about Larry and a lot of good. He was a pleasure to work with and finished my project 2 weeks ahead of schedule which was very much appreciated. I had thought that I left enough time to order a jewelry box before the holiday but I was wrong, Larry said that he would do the best he could to finish it before and he did. The jewelry box came out beautiful and it was loved by the person I gave it to. Thank you.

The cherry end tables that Larry made for out bedroom are excellent. Because of a break in his schedule, we received them earlier than planned. The quality of his work is excellent, and it is clear that he takes pride in his work and in his interaction with purchasers. I would recommend him highly.

It was a great experience. Larry was very communicative throughout build setting conservative, but clear expectations, which he ultimately exceeded. The piece is great looking and of heirloom quality, so it will be appreciated for many generations to come. Thanks Larry.

Larry was an absolute pleasure to work with! His wood working skills are top notch! I have furniture from Stickley and Ethan Allen and my jewelry armoire is as well made (or better) as these. I love the way the cherry grain is continuous through the fronts of all the drawers, how smoothly the drawers pull and overall how elegant the piece is! And of course it’s perfectly functional. It is exactly what I had been searching for! Plus, Larry quickly responded to questions I had and reached out to me with his thoughts. The project was completed ahead of schedule and arrived in pristine condition. I have nothing but praise for Larry and his skills! I will most certainly reach out for the next project I dream up!!
