About Book Covers
Most covers here are leather Bible covers and covers for recovery literature, including the Big Book. They're hand-carved or hand-tooled, many in bison leather, and personalized with a name or initials. Covers are sized to a specific book, with a deep sleeve the book slides into, and some have carry handles. Makers also make covers for journals and other books on request.
What sets the price
A listing's price is usually a starting point. Half of the listings here are priced between about $100 and $210, with a median near $125, and one in ten is priced at $300 or more. Size, the leather, carving or tooling, personalization and handles set the price of a commission.
