Handmade in Larkspur, Colorado by Fine Ideas Furniture
This particular wood came from an old granary barn on a ranch in Colorado and has a black stain and clear finish. Styling for this screen inspired by the lines and shapes of a Maasai shield.

Dan Rieple
Fine Ideas Furniture
Each piece of custom handcrafted furniture that I create is functional fine art made with the intent to last many lifetimes. Even after 30 years in woodworking, it is always challenging, with no end to the styles, shapes, designs and combinations of materials. In a disposable society like ours it is refreshing to make heirloom pieces of furniture with soul.

Oct 10, 2014I am thrilled with my custom pedestal created by Dan Rieple. I searched 6 months for a pedestal for a sculpture I recently acquired and could find absolutely nothing worthy of the sculpture. Until I found Dan. Now I have two works of art!
