Arts & Crafts Night Stand
This piece and another like it, was made to go with the Arts and Crafts bed. It too incorporates thru mortises and crotch Mahogany panels. The rungs on the sides are joined to the top and bottom rails by way of a deep V-groove, which is exposed and creates an interesting detail. The drawer is made with hand cut dovetails. The solid top is attached to allow for movement in climate changes. Finish: Hand rubbed Linseed Oil, polyurethane and wax. Matches the Arts & Crafts Bed. - Made of Solid Mahogany, Ipe and crotch mahogany veneer on the sides
