In life we are hit with a myriad of adversities and even trauma, however it is a divine mystery that these hits can result in greater character, and even make us more interesting. This piece took a hit, and yet despite THE EVENT so to speak, still functions beautifully. Made with Claro, Black and English Walnut and Cedar lined.

Each piece of custom handcrafted furniture that I create is functional fine art made with the intent to last many lifetimes. Even after 30 years in woodworking, it is always challenging, with no end to the styles, shapes, designs and combinations of materials. In a disposable society like ours it is refreshing to make heirloom pieces of furniture with soul.
