Namibian Screen
This screen divider is designed to give the impression of looking through a window. In this instance the view is the desert in Namibia, Africa. The photograph is on canvas, and the reverse side of the screen is covered with Alpaca wool. The image is taken by my wife, Susie, and you can see other photographs on her web site.

Each piece of custom handcrafted furniture that I create is functional fine art made with the intent to last many lifetimes. Even after 30 years in woodworking, it is always challenging, with no end to the styles, shapes, designs and combinations of materials. In a disposable society like ours it is refreshing to make heirloom pieces of furniture with soul.
