My furniture is pieces of art starting from hand selecting of lumber for each piece of furniture, sticking to the traditional woodworking and hand rubbed on oil based finish that is water, heat and alcohol resistance as well as truely brings out the natural beauty of wood.
I have BFA in design from Rhode Island School of Design and MFA in Woodworking and Furniture Design from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Woodworking and furniture making is my passion. I have been making furniture for almost 30 years. I pay extra cares to each piece I design and build. You will love it!!

For Matt's console table5.0Katherine was great to work with. She was always prompt with responses to our questions, worked with us through an iterative design process to match our custom piece to our existing furniture, and personally delivered the finished product. To tie the design of the table into our existing furnishings, she incorporated a specific laminate pattern into the doors. The table she designed and built for us matches what we envisioned and, while we haven't had much time yet to use it, it seems sturdy and well made. While the price for the end product was more than we original sought proposals for due to design choices we made, she offered us a design that met our original budget and provided design options at a range of prices. We would recommend Katherine to others and would work with her again.
