My furniture is pieces of art starting from hand selecting of lumber for each piece of furniture, sticking to the traditional woodworking and hand rubbed on oil based finish that is water, heat and alcohol resistance as well as truely brings out the natural beauty of wood.
I have BFA in design from Rhode Island School of Design and MFA in Woodworking and Furniture Design from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Woodworking and furniture making is my passion. I have been making furniture for almost 30 years. I pay extra cares to each piece I design and build. You will love it!!

She kept us informed with messages and photos as the project progressed and was open to all our ideas. The price for the piece we consider to be a value because her work is impeccable and we could not have received a better piece for the price just by buying somewhere online. The shipping costs were a bit pricey, but she hand-delivered the piece to our front door so it was worth it. We would definitely recommend Katherine for anyone looking for a unique piece with solid craftsmanship!
