It is made of solid mahogany and has cabriole legs and hand carved ball and claw feet. It is upholstered in blue and gold silk, but you can choose any fabric you like. This ottoman is a conversation piece and will quickly become a favorite piece of furniture in your home. Little children like it because it's small enough for them to climb on without help and adults love it because it's easy to move and soooo comfortable.

It is refreshing and deeply satisfying to purchase something that is made by a craftsman especially for you. A piece of furniture that can be passed down from one generation to another is special. Jim Reedy Custom Woodworking is a one-person shop that makes beautiful furniture in a variety of styles. I use only fine quality solid wood and employ hand carving, traditional joinery and extensive use of hand tools to create my furniture. My pieces aren't inexpensive, but I have found that the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

    Jim built a beautiful dining table for me with two leaves that seats 4-8 people. Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. We designed the table together and Jim drove all the way from Boca to Davie on multiple occasions to meet with me to discuss the design and the finish of the table. While the table was being made, Jim provided me with regular updates on the progress.

    Jim is dedicated to his customer and passionate about his work. This is evident in the wonderful craftsmanship of our table. My family and I love the table and we have received many compliments from dinner guests. I have contracted with a lot of people to work on our house and I have never worked with anyone as pleasant, professional, and dedicated as Jim. I highly recommend Jim to anyone who needs an expert craftsman.
