Memorial Bench
I made this memorial bench for a client who wanted to celebrate the lives of her parents who had passed away. It is made from solid cypress and the inscription was done with traditional carving tools. The client wanted an "organic" look to the piece with an asymetrical back and rough edge on the seat support. The bench is 60" by 36" by 21", but can be made to any size you like.

Jim Reedy Custom Woodworking is a one-person shop that makes beautiful furniture in a variety of styles. I use only fine quality solid wood and employ hand carving, traditional joinery and extensive use of hand tools to create my furniture. My pieces aren't inexpensive, but I have found that the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
