Federal Style Table
This is a Federal style display table made from solid cherry with a watered silk fabric on the bottom. It was made for the client to display Russian icons he had collected over the years. It is 36" long by 18" wide by 18" tall and has a 1/4" beveled glass pane in the top. This is a first rate piece with very high quality solid brass hinges.

Jim Reedy Custom Woodworking is a one-person shop that makes beautiful furniture in a variety of styles. I use only fine quality solid wood and employ hand carving, traditional joinery and extensive use of hand tools to create my furniture. My pieces aren't inexpensive, but I have found that the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

A true professional, Jim worked with us through three iterations on the mirror molding and at least two iterations on the stain before we selected a final design. He kept us informed regarding progress from start to finish, and the final product is a testament to his expertise as a woodworker. Jim gets five stars across the board.

We designed the table together and Jim drove all the way from Boca to Davie on multiple occasions to meet with me to discuss the design and the finish of the table. While the table was being made, Jim provided me with regular updates on the progress. Jim is dedicated to his customer and passionate about his work. This is evident in the wonderful craftsmanship of our table. My family and I love the table and we have received many compliments from dinner guests. I have contracted with a lot of people to work on our house and I have never worked with anyone as pleasant, professional, and dedicated as Jim. I highly recommend Jim to anyone who needs an expert craftsman.
