This is one of a pair of candle stations I made for a church. I worked with the clergy on the decorative woodwork and recreated a design from a 4th Century church in Greece.

Jim Reedy Custom Woodworking is a one-person shop that makes beautiful furniture in a variety of styles. I use only fine quality solid wood and employ hand carving, traditional joinery and extensive use of hand tools to create my furniture. My pieces aren't inexpensive, but I have found that the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Nov 27, 2012Jim built a beautiful dining table for me with two leaves that seats 4-8 people. Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. We designed the table together and Jim drove all the way from Boca to Davie on multiple occasions to meet with me to discuss the design and the finish of the table. While the table was being made, Jim provided me with regular updates on the progress. Jim is dedicated to his customer and passionate about his work. This is evident in the wonderful craftsmanship of our table. My family and I love the table and we have received many compliments from dinner guests. I have contracted with a lot of people to work on our house and I have never worked with anyone as pleasant, professional, and dedicated as Jim. I highly recommend Jim to anyone who needs an expert craftsman.
