Hardwood Art Furniture Coffee Table
Coffee table made from South American hardwood, Goncalo Alves. Goncalo Alves is known for its strength and prized for its striped grain. This piece was fashioned from one plank of wood. Assembly was wedged square pegs externally and internally with Ebony wood used for th pegs. Table thickness is approximately 2 inches. Sides were profiled to show lightness. Edges and lines were kept arched on all sides to accentuate the piece and highlight the streaked grain of the wood.
