Sapele Audio Cabinets
2 identical cabinets to be placed on either side of a centered wall fireplace. These cabinet will house audio/visual equipment for a flat screen T.V. Cabinets are constructed from solid lumber, Pommelle Sapele, a beautiful African wood. Each cabinet has 3 inset doors with 1/4" black glass and 1 side finished with 2 flat panels. A small bead detail follows all openings on doors and cabinet carcass to add a bit of interest even though none is really needed with this type of wood. The tops consist of 1 solid piece of lumber, with an additional top sitting upon (4) 6" tall posts. The piece is stained to bring out the depth and figure in the grain, then clear coated with a satin lacquer.
