1765 Philadelphia

$15,000

A work in progress coming to the end, this is a reproduction of a 1765 Philadelphia Chippendale. The clock stands 103" tall, the entire upper portion or "hood" is hand carved, from the goose neck to the Philadelphia flame finials. The wood for the clock is Walnut with the secondary wood being White Pine. This clock has some exceptional pieces of Walnut, the main door and lower panel have some unbelievable grain pattern and throughout the clock there is some curly Walnut. The final carvings are now being placed on the scroll board, all i need to do is mount the door and install the antique glass.4-12-11 door is mounted and dial is in place, and ready for a good home
