1765 Philadelphia

$15,000+
5.0(3 reviews)

A work in progress coming to the end, this is a reproduction of a 1765 Philadelphia Chippendale. The clock stands 103" tall, the entire upper portion or "hood" is hand carved, from the goose neck to the Philadelphia flame finials. The wood for the clock is Walnut with the secondary wood being White Pine. This clock has some exceptional pieces of Walnut, the main door and lower panel have some unbelievable grain pattern and throughout the clock there is some curly Walnut. The final carvings are now being placed on the scroll board, all i need to do is mount the door and install the antique glass.4-12-11 door is mounted and dial is in place, and ready for a good home

Michael is an incredible craftsman who has an amazing eye for detail. He designed and built the custom bar in my man cave and my wife and I could not be more pleased with his work. Michael is trustworthy and honest. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

I commissioned Mike to make me a Bubinga and Wenge coffee table for my living room and it turned out exceptionally! He had some of the most beautiful waterfall-figured bubinga lumber already in his shop, and we ended up using that. Mike is an expert when it comes to working with exotics, which is why I chose him. i wouldn't hesitate to use him again!

Mike was fantastic from day one. He is a real craftsman and put a lot of thought into the design and worked with us on all the details. He is very tech savvy and kept us in the loop with pictures at every stage of the process. I would love to work with him and his team again. Custom-made was a great help in putting us together.
