Suspended Wall Shelf
This wall shelf is the companion piece to the Nakashima style desk. The shelf is cantilevered again. The piece has the feeling of an abstract Piet Mondrian painting where everything is off-center and still in balance. The door is covered with Japanese Shoji paper.

Feb 19, 2013Steffen took real care in the design, even adding an inlaid gingko leaf to match the Craftsman theme of the room. It is a stunning piece. We love the contrast of woods, and he seamlessly incorporated five different woods which all blend harmoniously. We have begun another project, so pleased were we with the result.

We very much enjoyed our interaction and seeing the different stages of the work in photos. He had some good ideas to improve our original design. He even delivered and set up the bed for us.
