Lakewood Console Table

$2,000

A custom made and unique South American Mahogany console or hall table with a center inlay of Crotch Birch. The front apron and the cross banding is from Fiddleback Makore, which creates the rippling visual effect on the front of the piece. The birch was hand harvested from a tree on the shores of Lake Mooselook Meguntic, in the Rangely area of Maine, and is a spectacular piece of wood, with a rich, deep irregular waves of pattern. I specialize in furniture with Crotch Birch incorporated in it in some way. Pricing is determined by woods used, time invested and complexity of the design.
