Wood tops inlaid with metal are one of our specialties . Shown left is a chemetal aluminium (ripple pattern), inlaid to a maple bull nose stained Cherry. Aluminum and ground steel inlays require an epoxy top coating. Epoxy gives a very deep, very high gloss which amplifies the character of the inlay, the epoxy has the durability and tensile strength needed for soft metal surfaces. The front bar wall (far right consists of maple wood panels stained Cherry, and separated by matching Chemetal reveals Located at the Top Diner in Bethlehem Pa.
