Located in the East village AKA alphabet city, "Spina", wine bar and restaurant, is all solid mahogany. Overhead box shelves, glass racking, and diamond wine bins adorn the back bar. The upper back bar to the left uses what we call railroad shelving in which the bottles lie horizontally. The front bar is a basic slab of random planks and square edge, unique in its simplicity. The entire bar is finished in 2 layer linseed oil. The species of wood chosen is one of the few that offer full protection with the oil finish
