"Phoenix" Carved Sculpture
"Phoenix" is a Carved Sculpture out of forest reclaimed Alligator Juniper Burl. A chainsaw is first used on the burl to start the design. Then grinders are used to create the vase shape, waves and bends. The base is walnut with patina copper. The Sculpture stands approx. 5ft tall and 3ft wide.

We are a husband and wife team, residing in the beautiful mountains of Candy Kitchen NM where we create incredible chainsaw carved sculptures and vessels out of wood. Each is a one of a kind collectors addition. We like to work with woods such as "Forest Reclaimed" old growth Alligator Juniper that is local to our area. We also prefer woods such as mesquite and AZ Ironwood due to their beauty. All the sculptures we create are unique in design and not only show off Scott's' carving ability, but the beauty in the wood itself.
