Alabaster Stone Sculpture
"Tunnel Vision" was carved from Red Alabaster with Bubinga wood attached to the outer part of the tunnel opening and the feet. Brass pins were used to both hold the wood in place and add a different element to the piece. The alabaster started out as a 90lb block of stone (see inset pic) and grinders carved out the shape. Then the wood was attached and a grinder blended it into the stone. This piece is about 14"tall, 16" long and 12" wide and priced at $3700.00. Inquire about shipping, due to weight.

We are a husband and wife team, residing in the beautiful mountains of Candy Kitchen NM where we create incredible chainsaw carved sculptures and vessels out of wood. Each is a one of a kind collectors addition. We like to work with woods such as "Forest Reclaimed" old growth Alligator Juniper that is local to our area. We also prefer woods such as mesquite and AZ Ironwood due to their beauty. All the sculptures we create are unique in design and not only show off Scott's' carving ability, but the beauty in the wood itself.
