Custom Desk Chairs
Our custom desk chairs are made much like our rocking chairs. They have lots of hand shaping using files and rasps making them extremely comfortable and artistic. The base is now a five wheel base that tilts, adjusts up and down and swivels. We also molded wood over the metal frame to make it blend in better with the chair. You have a choice of either flat arms or rounded over arms and the height of dog ears. Our chairs start at $4800.00 depending on the wood choice and any other added techniques such as wrapped joints. Shangri La Woodworks
We are a husband and wife team, residing in the beautiful mountains of Candy Kitchen NM where we create incredible chainsaw carved sculptures and vessels out of wood. Each is a one of a kind collectors addition. We like to work with woods such as "Forest Reclaimed" old growth Alligator Juniper that is local to our area. We also prefer woods such as mesquite and AZ Ironwood due to their beauty. All the sculptures we create are unique in design and not only show off Scott's' carving ability, but the beauty in the wood itself.
