Passion for design, meticulous craftsmanship and unwavering respect for Nature’s beauty. For me, creating beautiful furniture is so much more than just woodworking. It is about preserving what Nature has provided. It is about creating designs that excite the senses, all while showcasing Nature’s designs. My work makes no attempt to hide the magnificence of wood’s color, grain and figure. Rather, it accentuates it. From the vibrant colors of Yellowheart and Padauk, the prismatic figure of Curly & Quilted Maple, to the stunning grain of Claro Walnut and Curly Cherry. Preserved for generations to come. Hand made, never mass-produced. Truly one-of-a-kind.

I operate a one-man studio in Upstate New York. My true happiness is in designing and building unique pieces not found anywhere else. I very much enjoy taking on commissions and bringing my happiness to my customers. While my sample pieces shown here at Custom Made are writing desks and coffee tables, I am more than willing and able to take on almost any woodworking project.

During my 3 decades of woodworking, I have built everything from entertainment centers to small shelves, from telescope tripods to entire food pantries.
