Elliptical Desk With Chair In Zebrano & Black Walnut
Presenting my elliptical writing desk I have named "Zellisse" (pronounced zell-e-say). The name is derived from the Italian word "ellisse" (ellipse) and the "Z" from the first letter of Zebrano, the spectacular wood from which it is crafted. The base and legs are solid Black Walnut done in a Java stain, contrasting perfectly with the Zebrano. The entire piece is protected by multiple coats of clear satin finish. There is a compact drawer in which items such as your phone, tablet or mail can be stored. Or small make up and perfume items if you wish to use the piece as a vanity. Either way, it is a captivating piece of functional art that will add unmatched style to any space you choose. The chair is similarly crafted from Zebrano and Black Walnut and is a lovely styling statement all its own. Desk dimensions are 42" long x 23" deep x 30" high. The desk and chair pictured are available for immediate sale. Custom orders are welcomed. (Completion times for custom orders are 6-8 weeks).

I operate a one-man studio in Upstate New York. My true happiness is in designing and building unique pieces not found anywhere else. I very much enjoy taking on commissions and bringing my happiness to my customers. While my sample pieces shown here at Custom Made are writing desks and coffee tables, I am more than willing and able to take on almost any woodworking project.
