For Cherry And Maple Kitchen TableI have nothing but good things to say. The finished product is a beautiful one of a kind. The wood was clearly carefully picked and is just what we wanted. Would work with him again in a minute.

For Walnut Queen Storage BedPhil is very professional and easy to work with. The final product is an amazing, beautiful, and solid piece of furniture. Exactly what I was looking for. He has a great eye for design, attention to detail, and utilizes durable and high quality components in his work. He's also sensitive to sourcing natural and sustainable woods if that is your preference. After agreeing on the specifications, Phil sent me photos of the wood he intended to use and also offered to send physical wood samples if I desired. He was prompt, and communication was excellent. The project went perfectly on schedule, and Phil was extremely flexible with the timing of the shipping despite the fact that my timing was restricted due to travel. The packing job was phenomenal. It was packaged three crates, one small and two large. Phil gave me the option for eight smaller crates, but indicated it would have been prohibitively expensive. I live in a building with an elevator, and I unfortunately didn't realize that the delivery service was curbside only. I had to get them in the elevator and from there to my apartment by myself. This turned out to be no small task - the small crate I managed to transport on my own, and the large crates had to be unpacked so I could move the contents individually. If curbside delivery won't work for you, I would recommend clarifying this and the associated costs at the start of the project, As a testament to the quality of the packing job, I accidentally dropped the small crate going around a corner, but the bed is completely unscathed and in perfect condition. Once the unpacking was done, the assembly was very easy thanks to very detailed instructions, complete with diagrams. I recommend Phil without hesitation for any custom project.
