Of course I can't take the credit for designing this classic Stickley masterpiece, but I'm confident that I've done it justice. I've experienced many different reproductions of Morris chairs up close, and there is a very broad range in quality. If I may be so shameless, I'd put my chairs near the very top of the list. The joinery, finish, upholstery, seat construction, and overall comfort of these Morris chairs far surpasses most chairs out there. Shown here in solid cherry.

While I have a design style all my own, my influences are from the Arts and Crafts, Shaker, and Asian aesthetics.
