Mission Style Artsink Vanity

Mission Style Artsink Vanity

$3,280

This Mission Style Artsink Vanity is a collaboration of two local Asheville, North Carolina area artists. When I heard of Ed Racicot, the owner of Artsinks in Asheville, and saw some of his work, I had to collaborate on a piece with him. This piece is made of solid Quartered Oak with a medium dark beautiful dye stain. With these pieces the price varies, depending on the bowl you choose from and faucet. The piece shown is fitted with a Delta style sink in Rustic Forest Glaze. The faucet is Delta Dryden in a rubbed bronze finish, with Lux Push Top drain, also in rubbed bronze finish. Price for this piece as shown is $2300. Together, we are building up a line of different vanities, so if you have a different design in mind that you would like to have us design for you, please contact us. If you are in the Asheville area, plan your visit to my showroom. I am located 15 min east of Asheville. Brian Brace Fine Furniture Black Mountain, NC

Originating from a small town in the green mountains of Vermont, I began a fine woodworking apprenticeship under a local master furniture maker while still in high school. Upon completing the required 8000 hour apprenticeship program, I became the first to achieve Vermont State certification.
My 5 year journeymanship followed, beginning in Vermont and extending to Naples, FL.
Finally, in 2004, my dream of being a Master came true when I opened my first shop in Naples, FL. While having my shop in Naples, I did work for customers such as Truly Nolan, Olga Hirshhorn ( from the Hirshhorn garden at the Smithsonian) and the Lutgert family along with many others. I also was on the Naples museum of art open studio tour in 2010. One of only six artists in all of Naples.

In July of 2010, I expanded that dream by relocating back to the forests, this time, in the Western North Carolina town of Black Mountain, just a few miles east of Asheville.
I already have over 17 years of experience in custom furniture making at the age of 35, and that is why all of my pieces show the commitment and dedication I display to the craft. Many of the pieces I have made can be viewed on my website with detail images. Also, I can custom make pieces that you may have in mind, or we can design together to suit your needs.
