The beautifully figured maple in this Swan Table is uncommon, and a perfect match for this design. While by the pictures you see the beauty of The Swan Table, when you see it in person you will gain a greater appreciation for the excellent quality of the wood. One of the elegant qualities of this piece is the iridescence in the wood. You will see the personal care and detail of the beautifully hand carving roses and swans, and sense the warmth of the hand applied through out this piece. This beautiful original table delivers our luxury art furniture at its best. The Swan table is 30 inches high, 46 inches long and 28 inches wide. There are four different types of maple, Quilted Maple, Fiddleback Maple, Hard Maple and Soft Maple. Handcrafted wooden joints were used throughout, and a clear finish to preserve the natural beauty and depth of the wood.

The primary focus of Gallivan's Art Furniture, GArtFurniture.com is the creation of three-dimensional art, through the medium of the world's most precious exotic hardwoods, in the form of furniture. Combining the skills of furniture and cabinet making, hand carving, inlay and marquetry. And using only the natural colors of the wood.

We invite you to tour our gallery. Here you will find a chair otherwise known as The Throne, so named because of its massive size and extravagant carving and inlay this piece is an original with over 8000 hours in its creation. You will also see one of my favorites, the Rosewood Lamp, this piece was lavishly carved using five different types of hardwood including a bouquet of yellow roses. All of the wood in this piece including the yellow satin wood roses are their natural colors. The roses themselves are carved from solid blocks of hardwood.

We've carved many roses over the years, including Rose bouquet's. Some of our roses are designed with a concealed pocket to place an anniversary ring or engagement ring in.
These bouquets include:
long stemmed 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and one dozen roses.
All of our roses are original and one-of-a-kind. These roses are carved freehand without a pattern, and strictly from the imagination. Starting from a solid block of wood, minute by minute, hour by hour small bits of wood are carved away and slowly a rose begins to come into focus. As each day passes it becomes more refined until finally the finish sanding is complete and the rose is fully blossomed into a flower of great beauty and satisfaction. A great part of the satisfaction is bringing pleasure to other peoples lives as they examine all the intricate detail involved in a single rose.
