Mahogany And Glass Sofa Table
This table was designed to compliment the art glass collection that is housed in the same room. I had a glass artist blow some spiral clear glass decorative legs, that shimmer in the light. The piece was designed as a display table behind the sofa, the dimensions were rigid, the ideas were fluid. Made of sustainable harvested Mahogany, with lots of detail in the stopped bevels and joinery. This is a very simple, complex piece but aren't they all, that is the fun in design, given very specific dimensions and working within that box to create a thing of function and beauty.
