Low Media Bench
The is one piece of curly walnut supported by the slab ends, tenoned through the top. The two sliding book matched doors have wany ends that allow passive cooling for audio visual equipment. The piece has slatted shelves and no back for air movement and ease of wire management.

My goal in woodworking is to build utilitarian objects that also fascinate the eye. I build heirloom pieces of figured lumber. Hopefully, these pieces will enliven interior spaces for generations. I enjoy the challenge of designing a piece to fit a specific need, but I am also comfortable working with designs by architects and other designers.
