Free Edge Sideboard
In the same style as my Free Edge Chest, The lines of this piece follow the free edge of the mitered top. The crotch figured, claro walnut doors serpentine to that line. I is 36'wide, 20" deep and 32" tall. Solid claro and black walnut, scaper finished.

My goal in woodworking is to build utilitarian objects that also fascinate the eye. I build heirloom pieces of figured lumber. Hopefully, these pieces will enliven interior spaces for generations. I enjoy the challenge of designing a piece to fit a specific need, but I am also comfortable working with designs by architects and other designers.

Preliminary discussion of the materials and the expected time frame was easily completed without confusion. Communication during the process was excellent.
