Tom makes beautiful furniture. It’s as much a work of art as it is furniture. I highly recommend him. I could not be happier with the walnut Amish Rolltop Desk Tom built for me. Really beautiful piece.

I had a table and benches made by Tom and it turned out better than expected. When he delivered them(ahead of schedule) we placed another order with him. We are very pleased with his work! And I got to visit his wood working shop next to his house. I can’t wait to think up something else for him to build!

The dresser turned out better than expected and faster as well. Tom was great at making sure each detail was considered and communicated. I plan to use him for any custom project I have. I found a gem!

The desk we had made was EXACTLY what we wanted and needed from Tom. When I asked for an unusual spec, he drew it out to make sure it would work before diving into it. He was very communicative and helpful in the planning phase so that I felt like we were always on the same page. It did not matter that he was half way across the country.

As for the value, I place a high value on getting exactly what I want, but it was a bonus that it was the same or a little less than something pre-made I could've bought at Pottery Barn or another store.

It was great working with Tom on our project. I contacted Tom originally almost three years ago and described our desired project to him. However at that time I experienced some financial difficulties and had to cancel just before finalizing the project.
Fast forward three years and we were back in a position to move forward with the original project and Tom was kind enough to respond and was willing to once again take up the project. It was a large project that included a bedroom dresser with a hutch, a night stand and a wrap around Bed; Amish style.
Tom completed the project and we made plans to visit him at his home and pick up the set in person. Tom and his wife took the time to spend an entire day showing us around the area and visiting several Amish stores in the area of Ohio in which he lives. My wife and I thoroughly loved our time with them.
Oh, and did I mention we love the bedroom set and would highly recommend Tom for your projects in wood. He is a highly talented woodworker who takes pride in his work and has the skill to create your dream.
