Tom makes beautiful furniture. It’s as much a work of art as it is furniture. I highly recommend him. I could not be happier with the walnut Amish Rolltop Desk Tom built for me. Really beautiful piece.

I had a table and benches made by Tom and it turned out better than expected. When he delivered them(ahead of schedule) we placed another order with him. We are very pleased with his work! And I got to visit his wood working shop next to his house. I can’t wait to think up something else for him to build!

The dresser turned out better than expected and faster as well. Tom was great at making sure each detail was considered and communicated. I plan to use him for any custom project I have. I found a gem!

It was great working with Tom on our project. I contacted Tom originally almost three years ago and described our desired project to him. However at that time I experienced some financial difficulties and had to cancel just before finalizing the project. Fast forward three years and we were back in a position to move forward with the original project and Tom was kind enough to respond and was willing to once again take up the project. It was a large project that included a bedroom dresser with a hutch, a night stand and a wrap around Bed; Amish style. Tom completed the project and we made plans to visit him at his home and pick up the set in person. Tom and his wife took the time to spend an entire day showing us around the area and visiting several Amish stores in the area of Ohio in which he lives. My wife and I thoroughly loved our time with them. Oh, and did I mention we love the bedroom set and would highly recommend Tom for your projects in wood. He is a highly talented woodworker who takes pride in his work and has the skill to create your dream.

We are extremely happy with Tom and our mid-century living room pieces. He helped us make wise decisions and the outcome is beautiful! We have a living room set that will stay in the family for generations!

Tom did a fantastic job on my entertainment center. I shared a few pictures of what I was looking for along with a couple mock ups and Tom was able to put together a plan and shared ideas on how to make the product better. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone. We will most likely be reaching out to him in the future to have a bed made for us based on how happy we are with the entertainment center.

We are absolutely 100% pleased with the work Tom did for us! We requested a King version of our Queen bed that was made for us as a wedding gift as part of a set. From a few pictures snapped on my phone he sketched it up, added drawers for storage at our request and quoted as a great price. He did a perfect job and delivered to us 3 hours away. It looks gorgeous, is sturdy as can be and clearly outstanding craftsmanship. So glad we found CustomMade and Tom. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!

We are extremely pleased with our desk. It is just as we wanted! You can tell that this carpenter has had many hours in the shop to be able to produce such a fine product. Tom was easy to work with and always wanted us to know that he was willing to work with us to get the product we dreamed of.

I was very skeptical to have a custom made bed since I had no idea about it. I looked online and googled custom made beds and found this site. I searched and found Tom had made a bed close to what I wanted. We exchanged quite a few emails on what I wanted. We finally finalized all the specifications and started the project. I was very nervous if it was going to turn out like I had hoped. He sent me pictures when he finished the project and it looked great. I was still nervous as I still didn't know if it was constructed good. We finally set a ship date and I was patiently waiting. Well now I get to see it in person and it is even better then what I had hoped. He was very great to work with. He catered to me and I got what I wanted. Oh and after I saw the bed I asked about dressers. He made a dresser to match the bed and that is just as great!. I know if I decide I need anything else for the house I will be contacting him.

This was an incredible experience! Being a Forester and working with this level of Woodworker was great. I like that he has a relationship with the mill where the lumber comes from to make each of his products. I was able to meet with him at his shop and see projects as well as find out who Tom is as a person. I did not think the bed would be done so early, Tom was able to rearrange some things to make my wife's birthday present happen. Thank you Tom for the great bed and we will be coming back in the near future for more items.

This was a beautifully made roll top desk! I had contractors over working on my house when it arrived and they were very impressed by the quality. Tom made his own shipping container and the desk arrived with nary a scratch on it. The shipper he used was also very polite, very helpful and treated the desk with great care as he loaded it off the truck. Tom was very easy to work with, communicated promptly and was open to suggestions. He even built a hidden compartment at my request and for no extra charge. Thank you Tom. I now have a piece a furniture that can be passed down through the family. I wouldn't hesitate to work with you again.

The desk we had made was EXACTLY what we wanted and needed from Tom. When I asked for an unusual spec, he drew it out to make sure it would work before diving into it. He was very communicative and helpful in the planning phase so that I felt like we were always on the same page. It did not matter that he was half way across the country. As for the value, I place a high value on getting exactly what I want, but it was a bonus that it was the same or a little less than something pre-made I could've bought at Pottery Barn or another store.
