These spice grinders are my version of a lighthouse. The tallest is 11" tall and the shorter one is 9" tall. They are made from highly figured Maple Burl. In places the Maple Burl actually looks like the stone work that you would find on some lighthouses. The mechanism used inside them is the best mechanism that I can find anywhere in the world and that is the CrushGrind mechanism. I do the set in two different sizes because they are turned alike it would be difficult to distinguish which is salt and which is pepper on your counter or table.
