Gothic Revival Chairs
Working to suit their Victorian home, my clients chose a compatible gothic revival styling. I designed and fabricated the leaf and vine marquetry frieze above the back cushion and hand-carved the gothic tracery below. Posts and legs were lightly carved and champfered. The over-the-rail seat was professionally upholstered.

I seek to make elegant furniture featuring charming marquetry and time-honored craftsmanship. I design and build for clients to suit their practical needs and aesthetic tastes. I have been a woodworker for over 30 years and a furniture maker for over 20. My training was formal and in traditional design and construction of 18th and 19th century styles.
