Greene And Greene Dining Room Chairs
Handmade in Medford, Massachusetts by Paula Garbarino Custom Furniture
These chairs feature the classic motifs of the designer brothers Greene and Greene: cloud-lift motif (subtle steps in most of the parts), parallelogram cross-sections of the posts and legs, sensual round-over of all the edges, and ebony inlay left minutely proud of the surface. Upholstered seats (not pictured) are done by professional upholsterer. Another option is rush seating as appears on the originals in the Gamble House.

Paula Garbarino Custom Furniture
I seek to make elegant furniture featuring charming marquetry and time-honored craftsmanship. I design and build for clients to suit their practical needs and aesthetic tastes. I have been a woodworker for over 30 years and a furniture maker for over 20. My training was formal and in traditional design and construction of 18th and 19th century styles. I continue to work in those periods but am also pleased to accommodate more contemporary looks. Please visit my website to see my entire portfolio.
