I don't know what it looks like. I refused to accept delivery when I heard shattered glass, please pack it better

After send out a proposal with a picture of a cutting board I requested, Charlie bid on it. We discussed dimensions, type of wood that would be used, and other details. After putting down my deposit and accepting his proposal, Charlie began making my cutting board with no further questions. He finished my product upon the discussed time but had completed a completely different cutting board than discussed. Color and pattern were completely different from the picture I had given him. I made Charlie aware that I was not happy with this product and he said he would get started on a new one. Except this time the board was even more off from what I was looking for. I again expressed my concerns with Charlie and he told me that I never told him that I wanted the cutting board to look exactly the same as my given picture. If you are the maker and have any questions with what you are making, wouldn't you ask the buyer? No, Charlie thinks that he can make whatever he'd like, not taking in mind the picture you had originally sent out with your proposal. I would not recommend this buyer, he was not corporative and refused to give us our deposit back after his mistakes. I had to write the company to get my deposit back and he has now set me back 4 weeks on a present that I was buying for a loved one.

I had two custom pull-out cutting boards made to replace our old ones and Charlie did a great job! He communicated well. Sent pics before shipping so I could see the final product and then sent both out packaged carefully. I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend!

Charlie fabricated exactly what I wanted. My wife and I couldn't be happier!
