I cannot say enough good things about our first experience with CustomMade and, more importantly, with RockyTop WoodWorks. From our first contact with RockyTop, Rick was great to work with. In addition to taking care and listening to what we wanted, he took the time to ask the right questions so we'd also get what we needed. We worked very closely with him on the design and features of our bookwall and he gave us exactly what we'd always wanted - a beautiful place to store our books. The final result is really a beautiful piece of art, just gorgeous to look at and exactly what we'd hoped for. Rick was professional and prompt with all our communications - he kept us informed as his progress moved towards completion with both pictures and video. The attention to detail with regards to our project was first rate - everything from wood choices, number of shelves, door handles, and getting a large piece installed in a tight space were taken into consideration and the result was a wonderful experience. Rick came in early on his completion date estimate and delivered and installed the bookwall without any problems. The professionalism he brought to this project and the craftsmanship of the work is just top notch and we absolutely love what he created for us ( and we've had nothing but raves from everyone who's seen the bookwall ). Rick's price was very reasonable and he came in on budget. The bookwall is truly beautiful. We strongly recommend Rick/RockyTop WoodWorks for any project, he's a master at what he does. We are very happy with the mesquite box that Rick made for us. It has a beautiful turquoise inlay, just as we requested and the mesquite grain shows beautifully. The work was completed as scheduled and Rick kept us in the loop at every step. We feel we have gotten a handcrafted work of art for a great price. You should check out Rick's work!

Rick Hensley's work is phenomenal!! We started the process with designs that I described and he translated into sketches. A couple of revisions later and we were ready to go with the project. Rick was easy to contact and in synch with what I was looking for which made the design process a breeze.

Then Rick started building the bookshelves and always provided weekly pictures, which was great so I could see the progress. Also, i did not ask for this, but he made the desktop from antique maple wood from 100+year old tree on the back of his property. It is so unique and gorgeous, I am thrilled he took that initiative and allowed it to become part of my home.

Once complete, we scheduled a good weekend, and he brought the completed bookshelves and desk to my house and installed them with his brother's help. Unfortunately, I had to leave during the install for a commitment, but my husband was there and got to see the whole process.

Rick stayed all day to make sure everything was perfect when I got home. The bookshelves and desk are so high quality, I will never ever work with anyone else on needs like this. Rick will be our go-to guy for any wood working needs. The final outcome is gorgeous and looks like it should have always been there - seamless, beautiful, pure craftsmanship.

I wanted to update my dining room furniture. This set belonged to my grandmother and is approximately 85 years old. I wanted to combine the hutch and buffet into one piece. I also wanted the "raw wood" finish that is so popular now. Needless to say, I am thrilled with the finished product. During the process, I told Rick that I wanted a mirror in the back, glass shelves and down lights. He happily obliged. I found Rick through a Google search which lead me to CustomMade. Luckily, he was in my area, which made the process very convenient!!! I plan to use Rick again for a custom office armoire. I am confident that he could build and create anything!!
