Neo-Classic Entertainment Center
This unit was designed in collaboration with an interior designer. It was built several years ago when large projection TVs were in fashion. The homeowners wanted the piece to be installed in a sitting room that adjoined their bedroom--they wanted to TV to be viewed from the club chairs in the sitting room, as well as from the bed in the bedroom. To accomplish this, I built a heavy duty pull out platform for the TV, with a large bearing swivel. The curved front was called for to accommodate the swivel movement of the TV, which is actually the front of a large storage drawer under the TV platform. A small refrigerator is installed behind the left end door.
