Amboyna Burl Hollow Turning
This is a great example of a hollow turning. Each hollow turn I produce is a one of a kind piece of art. Even if I copy the shape of the turning the wood grain makes each piece unique. This turning is made from Amboyna, one of the rarest woods in the world; it really has a look like no other. This is the wood they used in Royal Royce dash boards. The lid is made from Afzelia Burl and the finale is made from Ebony. So be sure and check my web site under bowls and platters for more pictures and examples.
