Koa Serving Cart

$4,500

This Koa serving cart was inspired by one of Sam Maloof's creations. Practical in size, but opens to allow plenty of space for your entertaining needs. This serving cart is available in the wood of your choice and can be made in a size to fit your surroundings. This Koa serving cart is probably the last one I will make in Koa. The wood is now $70 per board foot. Buy it while it lasts.

From Ed's shop in Rancho Cucamonga, California Ed Rizzardi builds furniture at a workbench the way he believes heirloom furniture is meant to be made. This includes careful selection of quality hardwoods, exposed jointery, sculpted lines, oil finish and tasteful designs.

"Craftsmanship deeply rooted in experience is the heartbeat of my shop. I enjoy the challenge of taking old skills and doing new creative work with them."

My pieces are competitive to commercially produced furniture when one considers longevity and the fact that all the cost involved is labor and materials. There are no retail mark ups, sales commissions or expensive marketing techniques.

Ed believes handcrafted pieces are different. They require thought, patience and good design. These pieces create a relationship between the craftsman, the user and the material; a relationship that is rare today. Ed is committed to this kind of craftsmanship.

Ed signs and dates each piece.
