Trestle Table
This sturdy yet elegant table remains close to its traditional roots. The handcrafted trestle structure gains its strength from heavy timbers and massive mortise and tenon joinery. The long beam is double tenoned through the posts at each end finished off with tight wedges for endurance through the generations. The tops display matched boards of the most beautiful grain patterns each carefully selected log has to offer. The bowed sides allow plenty of room in the center for serving dishes and open the gathering space for ease of conversation. Each table receives a coat of hand rubbed oil to bring out the color and depth of the woods' hues. This first layer of finish gets topped off with a water- based urethane for years of worry-free protection. Custom sizes are available in a full selection of premium American hardwoods. Due to its beautiful simplicity, this table is compatible with nearly any style chair. Production time is 3-5 months, and is subject to change with demand.
