Having worked in different artistic fields over the past years, two have helped
with my transition to building furniture.
I believe my experience as a Commercial Photographer and the past twelve years as wood carver, has added in my development of the fundamental skills and artistic eye for proportion, balance and composition. This is specially important when designing a stylized or custom piece.
At present, Western theme pieces are vying for my
attention. I found this styles allow me to produce fine furniture as well
as keep my hand in the carving aspects of the design.

For A custom jewelry box, with a secret lockDan Coors is a highly skilled woodworker. He took my complex idea and made it into a functional box and he delivered on time. I would work with him again. This jewelry box was for a corporate job, but I would come back and hire him for personal work as well.
