Glass Door Bookcase
The client contacted me to make a piece of furniture out of a willow oak tree from her front yard that was struck by lightning. The challenge was that she didn't know what she wanted yet. Together we found a local sawyer, and after assessing how much usable wood there was, I came up with this glass door bookcase, inspired by one she had in her old work office.
