Flag Case

He produced a beautiful oak gun cabinet to my specs…it took longer than originally planned but the quality was there and the overall look was simple and elegant, which is preciesely what i requested. the only issue is the upper barrel racks are a touch too shallow to allow a rifle with scope to rest properly without the scope hitting back wall of cabinet, hence the 4 stars on quality. I'll have to find a way to deal with that…but the rifle spacing was just as i requested and perfect. the cabinet was expensive, but the overall value is quite acceptable given the custom work and attention to the look i asked for--a gun cabinet that looked like a narrow wardrobe rather than an obvious gun cabinet. In working on that design he hit a homerun for looks and subtlety…my wife is thrilled with it as it perfectly matches the stain samples I sent to have it look as if it had been built when our oak bookcases were first installed some years ago…no easy trick matching the color and style.

Tim was amazing and made my project easy for me to be involved and his craftsmanship is awesome. I had contacted other artisans but by the first few exchanges with Tim I felt like he was going to be the best choice. Not only was he very professional and timely with his responses but he has a depth of knowledge in what I needed so that he could ask excellent questions and guide me to help make decisions so that it would all work out the way we wanted. This project, a special set of knife handles to go on vintage knives, was not only something we wanted to do but had a special family significance too. Tim made everything easy for me and he made me feel at ease turning over this project to him. he is not only a talented craftsman but also was able to understand the significance of this project to me. The knife handles were beautiful and exactly what we wanted and Tim made this into a great experience. I would definitely like to collaborate with Tim again on future projects.
