Here's the original request we received: I would like the door to be on hinges, wood trim to be finished in black lacquer. Was not able to add photo. Here are some details on the project from the maker: Hi Doris, I am very privileged to offer you the following proposal for you new home for you dolls. CM commissions and hardware costs did escalate the price just a bit. Project description as follows: 1. Wood Frame approx. 3/4 inch Black lacquer Finish. 2. Beige finished back. (Oriental theme if located) 3. Glass on the sides, top and front door. (tempered) 4. Swing open front door. 5. Dimensions are: 32" wide (side to side) x 21" deep (front to back) x 28" height (bottom to top) - all exterior dimensions. 6.Solid bottom and solid back. Customer request below in (-) (Is it possible to paint the inside of the back a light beige color?) This Display will be designed and built as close to original as possible with pictures provided. Also included will be pivot style hinging, Hand Crafted Custom Gold tassel on small wood knob. and catch to hold door closed. Ship date is an approx. and will keep in touch with you Doris if we need to adjust this time due to scheduling. Mar 26, 2021Timeliness: Work was completed ahead of schedule, which was great! Communication: Tim asked a bunch of questions to ensure that the final piece was exactly what I wanted, and offered some ideas to make it better. Professionalism:Every email and our phone call was very professional. Expertise: The coat racks came out EXACTLY how I wanted, and they are very sturdy. Shipping: The coat racks came extremely well packaged in tons of bubble wrap. Value: The price for two custom pieces, plus shipping seemed very reasonable to me. They weren't cheap - but if I wanted cheap I would have gone to Target. Overall, I was extremely impressed with every part of working with Tim, and would highly recommend his work to anyone.

Feb 26, 2019Tim was amazing and made my project easy for me to be involved and his craftsmanship is awesome. I had contacted other artisans but by the first few exchanges with Tim I felt like he was going to be the best choice. Not only was he very professional and timely with his responses but he has a depth of knowledge in what I needed so that he could ask excellent questions and guide me to help make decisions so that it would all work out the way we wanted. This project, a special set of knife handles to go on vintage knives, was not only something we wanted to do but had a special family significance too. Tim made everything easy for me and he made me feel at ease turning over this project to him. he is not only a talented craftsman but also was able to understand the significance of this project to me. The knife handles were beautiful and exactly what we wanted and Tim made this into a great experience. I would definitely like to collaborate with Tim again on future projects.
