I absolutely love my cutting board. There is nothing like having what you want made especially for you. I had a particular size in mind due to the area I wanted to use it in. This chair is AMAZING! Mike is a highly skilled craftsman who was answered the phone while my husband and I assembled the chair to help us with our question. He provides PDF instructions and videos. The chair is the best quality, easy assembly, the wood tones are exquisite, and it actually smells good! :) It is so study. We received so many likes and comments on FB after posting our pics.

Templates are well thought out and made. They were packaged well for shipping and arrived with no damage. The plans and instructional video were more than adequate.

Michael made barn doors for me and they are beautiful, exactly what I was looking for. He completed them earlier than expected and the packaging was superb. I am ready to start my next project with Michael!

Mike did a great job. He was very prompt with all his replies to the project. My TV lift cabinet looks and works like new! I am very please with his work and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a similar repair.

Mike was wonderful to work with the whole way through. Good advice, good design, good execution, great craft. He even made drawings and a prototype so I could give feedback. The chairs turned out beautifully!

Mike was outstanding to work with from the planning phase all the way through delivery. He was open to my ideas and made numerous great suggestions to help realize my vision. I am a big fan of work in process pictures....especially for creative projects like this magnificent Zebrawood cutting board.....and Mike was extremely accommodating and answered every one of my questions along the way quickly and professionally. This is a HUGE heavy board....35" x 22"....and Mike constructed a custom shipping crate....lined it with super dense foam....and then wrapped every square inch in protective shipping plastic....all of which was included in the price he quoted me. So my one of a kind masterpiece showed up from UPS unharmed and it is already resting perfectly in it's place of honor on our massive granite kitchen island. Mike even matched the stain he used to our cabinet and granite and it does look exactly like it was made for that precise spot. AWESOME! I can't say enough good things about our experience with Mike and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful wood creations.

I'm very happy with the custom shelf. Excellent work at a great price. Thanks again!

I have a beautiful end-grain larch wood cutting board with screwed-in rubber feet. I really like looking at it.

I must admit that I was very nervous at first when I asked for a quote from Mike. I did not know what to expect. After all, I am buying a product online and that was my first time purchasing a product from Carolina Wood Designs via Custom Made. The tigerwood/spalted maple humidor that Mike propose to make for my then fiance was spot on! It is a 75-100 count humidor, and this piece is just beautiful! My now husband LOVES his first custom made humidor... Mike is THE craftsman -- very professional, very timely, and a true expert! I absolutely recommend him and his work!

Like everything else from Michael, the cutting board is of superior quality and craftsmanship. It was packaged beautifully and even included a jar of food grade wax for long term protection. I am sure that it will last for a very long time.

I am very satisfied with the humidor that I had made. The wood is beautiful and the workmanship is outstanding. I did have to reach out a couple of times after the project was started because a few weeks had gone by without any communication from the artist but that is really my only negative. The customer support from this site is superb. I would definitely recommend this artist and this website as a whole.

My father is a wood turner so I have been around different types of wood for several years. As my father has aged I needed to look elsewhere for a quality made humidor for my husband for Christmas. Finding Michael was a blessing. I was a little nervous having someone I didn't know make this piece. When my piece arrived early, I was thrilled with the amazing job Michael had done. The quality and craftsmanship was outstanding. The piece of wood he chose had so much character and curl in it it was beautiful! There is no doubt that I will call on Michael again for my next project. Thanks Michael..........

Oh, my goodness! My dresser and my nightstands are absolutely beautiful! I was so happy when I saw them that I nearly cried! Michael is no ordinary craftsman. He is an artist. I am so lucky to have found him through custom-made.com and I am hoping that he will do other projects for me in the future.
