Oregon Yew Table Or Bench

An innovative intertwined base attaches to the 2" thick Oregon yew slab top with three hand cut mortise and tenon joints. The base is made from oven roasted western maple. The size and shape of this piece is rare, with a bonus since the indent seen on the top is actually a large hole that goes through the slab. This one-off piece will never be duplicated and is suitable for outdoor use. The original design base could be adapted to other custom furniture. This piece has a very special feel to it.
