The design for this game table incorporates playing fields for both chess and backgammon. The recessed backgammon field is found by flipping the chess board. Drawers on either side hold gaming pieces. The backgammon piese are weighted pucks of santos palisander veneered with maple burl stained to distinguish oposing players. The chess pieces are turned and hand-carved white oak finished in black and white lacquer.
